1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 cup milk
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1 egg
3 tbsp canola oil plus some for the pan
Blueberries or chocolate chips for the spiders
1 container Good Pantry Vanilla Buttercream
1. In a bowl, mix together the whole wheat flour, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice.
2. In separate bowl, combine the milk, pumpkin puree, egg, and the 3 tbsp canola oil.
3. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix until combined.
4. Heat frying pan or griddle over medium heat and add a small amount of oil.
5. Measure 1/4 cup of batter into frying pan for each pancake.
6. Add a few blueberries or chocolate chips to each pancake.
7. Cook one side until bubbles form and then flip over and cook until lightly browned.
8. Remove from pan and let cool.
9. Add Good Pantry Vanilla Buttercream into a small sandwich bag and cut the corner tip of bag to pipe spider webs.
10. Re-heat pancakes in microwave before serving (optional)
11. Enjoy!
